Guitarists have raved about the distinctive tone of the Cory Wong-designed pickups featured in his signature Fender Stratocaster. Since emerging in the late 2000s, Cory has established himself as a purveyor of tone and technique. His signature Clean Machine set supports the diverse spectrum of tone hes known for vintage glassy cleans, warm soulful rhythms and singing leads.
The Clean Machine set includes a hum-canceling stack bridge pickup with an Alnico 5 magnet. The middle and neck single-coils feature Alnico 4s resulting in a balanced tone. All three pickups are overwound and carefully voiced to meet the demands of all disciples of funk and soul.
